Acupuncture for chronic headache in primary care: large, pragmatic, randomised trial.

Objective is to perform a meta-analysis of trials of acupuncture for the treatment of back pain.

The author conducted a PubMed search to obtain a fair sample of acupuncture clinical trials published in English in 2005. Each article was reviewed for a physiologic rationale, as well as study objectives and outcomes, experimental and control interventions, country of origin, funding sources and journal type.

The purpose of this review is to describe how male erectile dysfunction and infertility are understood from an Eastern medical perspective
and to review the available research evaluating the efficacy of acupuncture in the treatment of these disorders.
