1. Apply for membership by filling in and signing the application form. Return it to the NVA by mail. Enclose authenticated copies of certificates of both basic medical training and acupuncture training, and include a sworn translation of each certificate in either Dutch or English. Enclose a copy of your residence permit.
2. The department of Education and Science of the Dutch Association for Acupuncture will judge whether your basic medical training meets the constituted requirements for membership or whether you need to take a supplementary exam organised by the Dutch Association for Acupuncture.
3. The department of Education and Science of the Dutch Association for Acupuncture will judge whether your acupuncture training meets the constituted requirements for membership or whether you need to take a standard acupuncture exam at a Dutch accredited acupuncture college.
Applicants will be refused membership if their certificates or testimonials are judged insufficient by the department of Education and Science of the Dutch Association for Acupuncture.
